Attharv Patwari is a student at Modern High International School, where he studies Mathematics, Economics, Business, and Environmental Systems and Societies. His academic interests complement his other participations too, most notably as a member of his school’s robotics team, where he has worked with infra-red sensors, basic circuitry, and coding under guided mentorship. Alongside this, he has participated in Model United Nations and been involved in volunteering initiatives, shaping his ability to engage with real-world issues in a practical and collaborative way.

Over time, these experiences have led Attharv to develop a growing interest in sustainability, and within it, options for community-centric solutions. With his further plans to explore water systems through independent research and work in ESG-focused environments, HydroShield emerges as a natural extension of this trajectory. An attempt to respond to real-world challenges through informed, scalable interventions. Through his project, he hopes to contribute, in his own way, to building a stronger and more resilient “shield” for people navigating water insecurity.
